DESCRIPTION
Every year, the construction industry piles up a mountain of waste. As designers, we pondered: what can we do with it? Collaborating with students and professionals, we investigated this challenge. Transporting materials from the renovation site of a new puppet theater in Kielce to our lab, we handpicked four waste materials: window glass, aged bricks, a wooden window frame, and wild clay left from foundation excavation. A new set of plates or designing a seat for a public space—those are a couple of ideas we came up with. The culmination of our efforts was showcased at the exhibition
