SPATIAL SYSTEM FOR ERYKA&JAN DROST EXHIBITION
WHAT
A system for an exhibition show
WHY FAIR
→ Minimizing unnecessary waste or transport barriers.
→ Mindful use of materials.
The exhibition was shown in Gdynia and Wrocław.
DESCRIPTION
The stars of the exhibition were Eryka and Jan Drost, influential figures in glass design during the 60s and 70s, known for revolutionizing glass technology. Our layout took cues from their famous designs—the Asteroid and Rotor plates. Knowing the exhibition would travel between Gdynia and Wrocław, we made it mobile. For example, we used easily transportable textile walls that take up minimal space. We also aimed to be resourceful. The cylinder displays were made using cylinder cardboard forms, reducing material waste and simplifying the builders’ work.
